 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress and comedian, as well as activist) is a comedian. Her parents were Jewish parents in the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actress when she immigrated to the United States. Her appearances as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials between 2013 and 2016 - and then since 2020 - earned her acclaim. In addition to her commercial appearances, she was a regular in the series of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). In addition she was a regular series on Yahoo! Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl for Marvel Rising in 2018 following her appearance in the pilot TV series called New Warriors. Vayntrub, was a Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents, who were at the age of two, came to America to escape antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. She began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, due in part to the family's financial troubles. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School briefly and then was kicked out of the school during her second year. She then obtained the GED and earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at University of California, San Diego. She was a member of improv comedy group the Upright Citizens Brigade.
